In 2018, a profound burden stirred within me—a calling to develop a thriving tech community in our local area of Alimosho. 

This vision gave birth to a free Saturday skill development class, the ValuePlus Initiative Programme at StarLab Academy. Our mantra was simple yet powerful: "If we can't get them, let's produce them."
On June 8th, 2021, we took a significant step forward when Kescreative had a crucial meeting with Alimosho Nigeria. The goal was clear: to transform Alimosho Local Government into a "tech community" where digital skills and creativity could flourish. This meeting wasn't just a conversation—it was the beginning of a movement, a vision to empower our youth with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age.

Skill Empowerment: Paving the Way for the Future
One of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal is skill empowerment. By equipping our youth with the right digital skills, we’re not only preparing them for the future but also ensuring they have the means to shape it. 
Digital literacy has become a fundamental part of education and professional development. From coding to graphic design, social media management to web development, these skills open doors to new career paths and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Our Action Plan for Alimosho Local Government:
A. Launch a Digital Talent Summit this December 2024: Let's bring together aspiring talents, industry leaders, and educators to discuss the future of digital skills in Alimosho and ignite a spark that will drive our community forward.
B. Secure Strategic Locations for Sponsored Professional Digital Skill Training: We need to establish one or two key locations where our youth can receive professional, sponsored training that equips them with the skills necessary for the digital economy.
C. Attract Partners, Volunteers, and Visionaries: To make this vision a reality, we need the support of partners, volunteers, and like-minded individuals who believe in the potential of our community.
D. Launch the First Digital Tech and Creative Hub: This hub will be the heartbeat of our community's growth—a centre for skill empowerment and talent development, where our youth can turn their dreams into reality.

This isn't just a call to action—it's a call to invest in the future of Alimosho Local Government community.
